Unlike assembling thermocouples, explosion-proof thermocouples often operate in environments accompanied by various flammable and explosive chemical gases, vapors, etc.

The explosion-proof thermocouple system generally consists of a thermal resistor, connecting wires, and display instruments. Armored thermocouples are a solid body composed of temperature sensing elements (resistors), leads, insulation materials, and stainless steel sleeves. Compared with ordinary thermistors, they have a small volume, no air gap inside, thermal inertia, small measurement lag, bending ability, easy installation, and long service life.
In the production temperature measurement of explosion-proof thermocouples, if it is found that the thermoelectric potential of the thermocouple is larger than the actual value, it may be due to insufficient insertion depth or incorrect installation position, mismatch between the compensating wire and the thermocouple model, deterioration of the thermoelectric electrode, and high temperature at the reference end of the thermocouple. Correct treatment methods need to be taken for correction.
