Different applications of high-efficiency resistance wires

The resistance of metals and alloys increases with temperature, but the temperature coefficient of resistance is generally higher for high-purity metals and rare alloys. Nickel resistance wires for temperature measurement are generally made of pure nickel, which has high stability. The temperature coefficient of the alloy resistance is adjusted by adding a small amount of alloy elements.

The preparation process of nickel resistance alloy wire mainly adopts vacuum melting and electroslag remelting, followed by hot forging of the alloy ingot, fine polishing of the billet, and then hot rolling processing. After heat treatment of the hot-rolled coil, repeated drawing and hydrogen protection heat treatment annealing are carried out until the finished micro wire is pulled, and then hydrogen protection heat treatment annealing is carried out.

In the absence of industrial nickel resistance and nickel resistance wire standards in China, a nickel resistance wire for a temperature sensor was successfully developed by adjusting the trace element composition of nickel dilute alloy multiple times and adopting appropriate heat treatment processes. Experiments have shown that the resistance temperature coefficient of the developed nickel resistance wire material =0.005 86/ degree , meeting usage requirements, stable wire performance, suitable for preparing airborne nickel resistance temperature sensors.
