The different characteristics of the polymer melt in the three-state of the extruder of the melt-blown cloth machine:

Glassy state-plastic appears as a rigid solid; the thermal kinetic energy is small, the intermolecular force is large, and the deformation is mainly contributed by the bond angle deformation; after the external force is removed, the deformation recovers instantaneously, which is a general elastic deformation.

 

Hyperelasticity—Plastics appear to be rubber-like substances; the deformation contributes to the stretching of the macromolecular conformation caused by the orientation of the segment, and the deformation value is large; the deformation can be recovered after removing external forces but is time-dependent, and belongs to hyperelastic deformation.

 

Viscous flow state-plastic appears as a highly viscous melt; thermal energy further intensifies the relative sliding motion of chain molecules; the deformation is irreversible and belongs to plastic deformation
