Tunnel furnace is a high-temperature equipment used in industrial production, usually used for high-temperature treatment, combustion, roasting and other processes. Its working principle mainly includes three aspects: heating system, combustion system, and control system.
1, The heating system of a tunnel furnace is usually achieved by combining a heater and a gas burner. Heaters can be resistance heaters, gas heaters, petroleum gas heaters, etc. The heater transfers heat to the heating chamber through heat sinks or pipes, causing the temperature inside the heating chamber to reach the set value.
2, The combustion system mainly consists of a burner, a fuel supply system, and a smoke exhaust system. There are many types of burners, including cyclone burners, homogeneous burners, flat burners, etc. The fuel supply system provides fuel, including liquid fuel, gas fuel, etc., usually controlled through valves and pipelines. The smoke exhaust system is used to smoothly discharge the exhaust gas generated by combustion, ensuring smooth discharge of smoke from the furnace.
3, The control system of the tunnel furnace mainly includes temperature control system, pressure control system, and safety control system. The temperature control system obtains temperature information inside the furnace through temperature sensors and automatically adjusts the power of the heater according to the set value to maintain the temperature within the set range. The pressure control system monitors the gas pressure inside the furnace to maintain stable pressure. The safety control system monitors parameters such as gas concentration and temperature inside the furnace, and automatically cuts off the gas supply when it exceeds the set value, ensuring safe operation inside the furnace. The workflow of the tunnel furnace is as follows:
Combustion and smoke exhaust: The burner burns fuel to produce high-temperature combustion gas, which flows and transfers heat through the furnace. At the same time, it produces exhaust gas, which is discharged outside the furnace through the smoke exhaust system.
In summary, the working principle of a tunnel furnace is to transfer heat to the furnace chamber through a heating system, provide combustion gas through the combustion system, and monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, and safety through the control system, thereby achieving high-temperature treatment, combustion, roasting and other processes. Tunnel furnaces are widely used in many industrial fields, such as the ceramic industry, metal industry, building materials industry, etc. With the continuous progress of industrial technology, the working principle of tunnel furnaces is also constantly being optimized to improve energy efficiency and safety performance.
